This is the blog where I post all the crazy stuff that goes on in my head. This is also the blog where I post random stuff I find interesting. If this is not your cup of tea, feel free to skip over.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I’ve realized lately that I’ve been getting really lazy in trying to look nice. I used to love just dressing up for no reason. Don’t get me wrong, I love dressing comfortably in sweats and a ratty old t-shirt or rather a tunic shirt and black tights (my go-to lazy day outfit). However, it’s becoming a problem when that’s all I wear. I stopped wearing anything other than sweatpants or tights.
Another thing I realized is that I’ve gotten lazy in putting on makeup. I don’t usually wear makeup (it’s bad for my sensitive skin). But sometimes, when I do decide to look nice, I just grab my favorite mascara and eyeliner and I’m done. All of my makeup is just sitting on my dresser table collecting dust. If I’m going to waste my money on makeup, I should at least make use of it. I added this because it reminded me of the time where I challenged myself to experiment with eyeshadow.
So that’s why I came up with this challenge on my own. I need to stop getting lazy. I have so many clothes in my closet and I don’t even wear half of them because I’ve gotten so lazy. I need to make the most of the money I spend, so I think this challenge will help me. Not only will I motivate myself to use all the clothes and makeup I buy, but I’ll look bangin’ while doing it too. I just want to find inspiration to dress up again, to look and feel good.
The challenge is to dress up and put on makeup every time I go out or go to school. The only exception is, I won’t have to dress up if I’m sick, if I have an eye infection, or feeling over-stressed (like during Finals). I have to take pictures of each makeup look I created plus pictures of all the products I used.
I need help, though, to make this thing more challenging for me. Should I post up all the pictures on Tumblr, have a detailed description of the products used, and how I applied all of them?
